Gameplay in Flying Square Bobo is simple, since you just have to make sure that the bird successfully dodges all of the trunks it encounters during its flight. They can pop up anywhere on the screen, sometimes coming out of one side of the screen and sometimes both, leaving you little room to maneuver.

Controlling the bird in flight couldn't be more simple and intuitive: just touch the part of the screen that you want the bird to move to. If you touch the right side of the screen the bird will move to that side without fail, and if you touch the left side it will move there.
